The never-ending portrait

Answer to last riddle: Because he would make three times as much money!

Don't overthink the haircut riddle guys! It's meant to be misleading...
Here's a midday post riddle for you all, I just heard it and found it quite clever:

    For the last puzzle, I thought that at first but then figured that would make it way too easy. I guess I should have stuck with my instinct.

    For todays, I would say a painting because a painter never seems to be satisfied with most paintings of theirs. Therefore, it's not complete until the painter is completely satisfied. (Yes, I know I'm wrong.)
