No glove, no love

Answer to last riddle: Pull the plug on the refrigerator, and then open it. This will even out the lower temperature in the refrigerator with the higher temperature of the room, which will drop a little. The stupidest thing to do is to open the refrigerator without pulling its plug. It will then suck the heat of the room into its cooling compartment and get rid of it again through the cooling ribs on its backside, adding even more heat in the process. Being open, the cooling compartment will never be cold enough to trip the thermostat, and the fridge will be running constantly, in effect acting as an oven.

Wow, you guys saw right through that one! I thought no one would think to pull the plug first...
This next one is a classic!

A surgeon needs to operate on three patients, one after another. But the surgeon has only two individual surgical gloves. How can the surgeon operate on the three patients in turn without risking infection for the patients or for himself?

  13. 1st both gloves on one hand for first surgery
2nd removes the dirty glove and performs the surgery with the inner glove
3rd She gets the dirty glove, reverses it over the inner dirty glove therefore it's clean and performs the surgery

  18. I was stumped, because if he turned the glove inside out, the inside would still be contaminated with is hand.

So he puts one glove on, then puts the other on over it. He does the first surgery, then he takes both gloves off, puts on the first one he used inside-out so that he's touching his first patient's biomass while he does the second surgery, then puts the clean glove (the inner one for the first surgery) on the same way as he had it earlier for the third surgery.

  19. Cool post! I'm going with both gloves on one hand. Operate, take the outer glove and turn it inside out, operate, then take off the outer and turn the inner inside out.

  21. Do the operation with the first pair of gloves.
Then wash the outside gloves, and turn the gloves inside out. Then operate. After second operation then use the second pair of gloves.

  25. Clever one. A shame I'm pretty sure someone got the answer before me, with both gloves on one hand.

  26. Oh damn that's why i'm not a doctor, i'd use the gloves, then turn them inside and use the other side of the gloves, that with one of them, therefore i'd have 2 uses for one and 1 use to the other, and i'd be clean as hell haha nah i don't know man...

  27. use one glove on the first, use one on the second, then reverse them? I know that still risks contamination on him though...

  28. 1st. Use one glove on one hand
2nd. Use the other glove on the same hand
3rd. Wash both glove and use them both.

All I can really think of at the moment.
